Khaja Syed Abu Turab Shah Quadri Chishti Yamani Bandanawazi “Turab” Quadeeri

(Current Sajjada Nasheen and Spiritual Guide)

1. Birth and Lineage

Birth: Born on 7 Jamadi-ul-Awwal 1396 AH (May 7, 1976 CE) Hyderabad, into a family entirely dedicated to Sufi discipline.

Upbringing: Raised under the rigorous spiritual training and moral discipline of his father, Khwaja Syed Ibrahim Shah Quadri, absorbing the core values of absolute adherence to the Quran, Sunnah, and Shariah.

2. Formal Investiture (Khilafah)

Historic Ceremony: In a grand historic ceremony on 16 July 1992 (14 Moharam 1413 AH) at Halkatta Sharif, attended by leading Sufi dignitaries from Dargah-e-Bandanawaz (Gulbarga Sharif) and Ajmer Sharif, he was officially invested with the mantle of Khilafah.

3. Uncompromising Shariah-First Principle and Salah Priority

  • Preserving Shariah and Tariqah: Continuing the uncompromising mission of his grandfather and father, he emphasizes that true Sufism (Tasawwuf) is inextricably bound to strict, unyielding adherence to Islamic law (Shariah).
  • Salah as First Priority: Under his leadership, Salah is guided as the absolute first priority. 4. Literary Contributions and Administration

  • Poetic Voice (“Turab”): Writing under his pen name Turab, his devotional poetry (Manqabat, Naat, and Hamd) is featured in Faizan-e-Quadeer, focusing on divine love and loyalty to the spiritual lineage (Nisbat).
  • Shrine Administration: As the current Sajjada Nasheen, he manages the vast daily operations of Astana-e-Quadeeriya, welcoming hundreds of thousands of devotees during the annual Urs-e-Quadeer Mubarak and ensuring the Khanqah remains a pure beacon of spiritual awakening
