Khwaja Syed Ibrahim Shah Quadri Chishti Yamani Bandanawazi “Saheb” Quadeeri (رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ)

(The Successor / Janasheen-e-Quadeer)

1. Birth and Upbringing

  • Birth Details: Born on 10 Rabi-ul-Awwal 1362 AH (corresponding to 1943 CE) at Halkatta Sharif, he was named Syed Ibrahim Hasan Yamani.
  • Early Training: He grew up directly under the watchful spiritual guidance and strict discipline of his father, Hazrat Quadeer (Rah.), memorizing sacred litanies and absorbing the etiquette of Tariqah and Shariah.

2. Dual Spiritual Lineage and Authorization

  • Qadiri & Chishti Inheritance: He inherited both the Qadiri lineage directly from his father and the Chishti-Nizami-Bandanawazi lineage.
  • Bandanawazi Khilafah: He received formal Chishti-Khulfaic authorization on 25 Zilhaj 1375 AH (Friday, 1956 CE) at Hyderabad from the grand Sajjada Nasheen of Dargah-e-Bandanawaz, Hazrat Syed Shah Hussain Mohammad Akbar Mohammad Al-Husseini “Khair” Bandanawazi (Rah.). Additionally, on 22 Rabi-ul-Sani 1375 AH (1955 CE), he was invested with Qadiri caliphate by his father at Chittaguppa Sharif.

3. Uncompromising Stance on Shariah and Congregational Salah

  • Guiding with Shariah Rigor: As Janasheen, he maintained his father’s uncompromising stance that spiritual elevation (Wilayat) can never bypass Islamic obligations.
  • Upholding Congregational Prayer: He ensured that Astana-e-Quadeeriya remained an active center where congregational Salah (Pangana Salah), Jummah, and Islamic practices are strictly enforced, screening out any elements attempting to drift away from the Shariah.

4. Stewardship and Literary Preservation

  • Shrine Expansion: Following his father’s passing in 1978, he expanded the Astana infrastructure, building traveler rest houses (Sarai), the Sama Khana, and the grand mosque.
  • Publishing Sacred Texts: He meticulously oversaw the editing, publication, and distribution of verified editions of Gulzar-e-Quadeer, Faizan-e-Quadeer, and Tazkera-e-Quadeer in Urdu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada
